A bruised and bandaged Emma Roberts was spotted one week after her domestic violence arrest -- and based on the pics ... it seems the fight was worse than we thought.

TMZ broke the story -- Emma was taken into custody in Montreal on July 7 after an altercation with boyfriend -- and fellow "American Horror Story" co-star -- Evan Peters.

Montreal law enforcement sources tell us a 3rd party phoned police about an alleged fight in the couple's hotel room -- and when cops arrived -- they found Evan with a bloody nose and a bite mark.  Sources close to Emma deny Emma bit Evan.

But in these photos, shot in Beverly Hills on July 14, it looks like Emma didn't exactly emerge unscathed herself -- she has some nasty scars on her knee, black and blue thighs, and a bandage on her left elbow.

Emma was booked into a Montreal jail -- and released the next morning when Evan refused to press charges.

We reached out to Emma's rep -- so far no word back.

Syfy has officially greenlit a sequel to "Sharknado" -- the Ian Ziering/Tara Reid flick about sharks invading Los Angeles -- only this time, the great whites will touch down in New York City.

One of the honchos at Syfy released a deliciously cheesy statement saying, "Every once in a while, there is a perfect storm – on television. The fans are clamoring for a sequel. Or perhaps it will be a prequel."

"What we can guarantee is that Sharknado 2 will be lots of fun. We’ll be announcing more details very soon. But we didn’t want our fans to worry they wouldn’t get their fill of more shark fin, I mean, fun next year."

No word if Tara or Ian will be back for the sequel -- but both actors told TMZ they're 100% down to appear ... if they're asked.

In borderline poetry, Charlie tells TMZ, "It's impossibly a most wondrous day. My bucket list is a thimble!"

The thimble metaphor is subject to interpretation, but it sounds like having a grandchild was one of the biggest items on Charlie's bucket list. In other words, the rest of his bucket list is so small, it's thimble-sized. But our guess is as good as yours.

Fun fact: Luna has two uncles who are only 4 years older than her ... Charlie and Brooke Mueller's twins.

Cops came down on rapper Nipsey Hussle in a big way Tuesday night in the middle of a Trayvon Martin protest rally  ... handcuffing him after suspecting he was brandishing a gun.

Law enforcement sources tell us ... LAPD cops saw Nipsey doing something that made them believe he was walking around with a firearm.  They descended on the rapper and cuffed him, but quickly determined he did NOT have a gun and they let him go.

It's unclear if Hussle was part of the rally, which took place in Leimert Park -- the scene of violence the night before.

As you may recall, Brock was diagnosed with a severe case of diverticulitis back in 2009 -- a digestive tract disease that usually forms in the large intestine -- and after multiple surgeries, he was forced to retire in 2011.

But things are lookin' up ... 'cause TMZ has learned Lesnar and his wife Sable hit up Fresco restaurant in Montclair, NJ on Monday ... and Brock put his belly to the test.

The 23-year-old was leaving Lure nightclub in Hollywood last night -- and seemed a little boozy (but in a playful way) ... when things quickly spun out of control.

First -- our guy had no idea who Kenneth was (so Kenneth messed with him and told him he's a soccer player ... pretty funny).

As Kenneth continues to mess with our guy, one of the NBA star's friends whips out the ESPN mag ... and our photog finally puts 2 and 2 together. It's hilarious.

And that's when the REAL fun begins ... with our photog asking about the naked photo shoot:

Nipsey Hussle tells TMZ ... "hyper-sensitive LAPD officers" overreacted and used excessive force when stopping the rapper and his crew at a Trayvon Martin rally yesterday -- and he insists he did NOTHING wrong.

We broke the story ... Nipsey was handcuffed after cops believed he may have been brandishing a gun ... but later let him go when they realized he was not in possession of a firearm.  

Now, Hussle tells us ... cops blamed the mix-up on officers who were monitoring the event in a police helicopter ... and they believed they saw Nipsey with a gun.

Nipsey says the confusion may have stemmed from an incident with a random person who threw a bottle at Nipsey's car. Nipsey says he and his crew got out of the car to say something to the bottle-thrower ... then quickly got back into their car and drove away. Moments later, they were surrounded by cops.

Nipsey tells TMZ ... he's especially upset at the way cops treated his brother (who is disabled) -- "They pushed his face on the concrete. They dropped a knee in his spine then twisted his arm and cuffed him while he was not resisting."

Nipsey says cops held them on scene for 4 HOURS ... before they eventually determined no one in Nipsey's crew had a gun.

Despite being at the Trayvon Martin rally ... Hussle doesn't think the situation was a case of racial profiling -- "I think it was the result of hyper sensitive LAPD officers overreacting once again."

Cory Monteith's body was cremated Tuesday in Vancouver following a private viewing with his family and girlfriend Lea Michele, TMZ has learned -- but Cory's father wasn't invited ... and he's heartbroken.

Cory's dad Joe Monteith -- who is divorced from Cory's mom Ann -- tells TMZ ... he was informed of the cremation after the fact, adding he's "totally devastated" he didn't get a chance to see Cory's body.

We're told Cory's body was released yesterday to his mom, and she decided to hold a viewing at the hospital with Lea and Cory's brother Shaun. Following the viewing, we're told Cory's mom decided to have him cremated.

Cory's dad tells us, "I always loved both my sons and am going to miss Cory very very much. I'm saddened at the fact that I couldn't have been there to see my son before he was cremated."

As for Cory's alleged heroin use ... his dad says he's "shocked."

The cast of "Glee" -- along with several producers -- knew Cory Monteith was battling a heroin addiction earlier this year and were the catalyst in his decision to go back to rehab, TMZ has learned. 

Sources connected to the production tell us ... it was no secret Monteith was off his game back in March -- and it became clear he was relapsing, specifically with heroin.

We're told the cast and the producers became very concerned ... and knew they had to address the issue with Cory.

Sources say ... the group sat down with Cory and had an "open conversation" with the actor -- stressing how much they cared about him and wanted him to get help.

One source tells us Cory was very receptive -- "It wasn't met with resistance ... He was always so grateful and aware of how fortunate he was."

"The decision was to best help our friend. The needs of the show fell second to his well-being."

Cory voluntarily checked into rehab at the end of March for a 30 day stint ... but despite his efforts, he couldn't defeat his demons, and last week, he died from a lethal mixture of heroin and alcohol.

He was 31.

The Boston supermarket chain Roche Bros. is also boycotting the magazine -- a rep tells TMZ, "When Roche Bros. learned of the cover for the current issue of Rolling Stone, we chose not to offer that product for sale in our stores. We join with our customers and neighbors in focusing on the recovery of the victims and our community."

Walgreens and Stop & Shop have also boycotted the magazine.

CVS apparently believes the First Amendment has limits ... because the pharmacy chain just announced it won't hawk the latest issue of Rolling Stone, featuring Boston Bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev on the cover.

A rep for CVS says "As a company with deep roots in New England and a strong presence in Boston, we believe this is the right decision out of respect for the victims of the attack and their loved ones."

Trayvon Martin is proof that America is just as racist now as it was in 1999 ... when NYC police officers fatally shot a black immigrant named Amadou Diallo -- so says Bruce Springsteen.

Springsteen was performing in Limerick, Ireland Tuesday when he dedicated his song "American Skin (41 Shots)" to George Zimmerman's 17-year-old shooting victim, saying, "We'll send this as a letter back home for justice for Trayvon Martin."

Springsteen famously wrote "American Skin" in 1999, accusing the NYPD officers who shot and killed Amadou Diallo of racism. Among the song's lyrics ... "You can get killed just for living in your American skin"

Trayvon's killer George Zimmerman was acquitted over the weekend of 2nd degree murder and manslaughter. The jury found Zimmerman acted in self-defense. Yes, America is still racist. The only way to get past it is to acknowledge it and have open and honest conversations about it. Then we need to move on. Until that happens it won't change. No more excuses like "well blacks do this and whites do that". We ALL need to come together and realize racism is real and we can get past it if we choose to do so.

If George Zimmerman shot Trayvon because he feared for his life, fine. But the fact is, is that he put himself in danger by approaching a stranger. I don't care if it was Hitler waking down the street, if he's not bothering anyone and is trying to get home out of the rain he has a right to be left alone. If the wanna be cop just waited for the police Trayvon would still be here. I mean come on, what if Trayvon WAS a burglar? What the hell was Zimmermans plan?
