Arrest in hit-and-run of Soulja Boy

In the case of car HIT-AND-RUN Cops arrested a man as part of the mysterious hit-and-run involving Soulja Boyof Bentley.  TMZ has learned... a rapper was busted, but it wasn't Soulja.

TMZ broke the story... a man was seriously injured on 9 January in Hollywood after a collision with a Bentley that made an illegal turn.  After some crack study by a friend of motorcycle cops got wind that the ghost car may have belonged to Soulja Boy.

Cops then checked a secret network of cameras that take picture around L.A. and capture the cars on the road.  They hit in the registration number of the Bentley and found several photos of the car with the damage that corresponded to the accident.  But they had no photos capturing the accident.

Police arrested Ahmad Mustafa ... we are told that it is one of the parasites of Soulja Boy.  He is a rapper who goes by the Arabs.  He was arrested for hit-and-run crime.

Told us cops still want to talk about Soulja Boy.
