Mariah Carey is official... She won't return to the table of judges "American Idol" for a second season - and a few hours later his nemesis 'AI' Nicki Minaj also bolted.

Mariah has announced his exit in the middle of rumors according to which producers 'Have' were going to sweep anyway before next season.

As we indicated previously... 'Idol' is extremely interested in bringing the Jennifer Lopez to judge next season - and keeping Mariah and J.Lo is clearly a bad fit... and a dear to it.

Nicki tweeted his sayonara... thank 'Idol' to experience life-changing ".

Thanks to American Idol for a life-changing experience! Wouldn't trade it for the world! Time to devote to the music! Mmmuuuaahhh!
