Former "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star Kim Zolciak is playing with fire again -- lighting up a cancer stick Thursday in Atlanta ... WHILE 100% PREGNANT.

Zolciak revealed her 5th pregnancy this week on the season finale of her new show "Don't Be Tardy." She's rumored to be roughly 4 months pregnant, and the baby bump is extremely obvious.

Translation: Kim knows she's pregnant, and smoked anyway.

And it's not even the first time -- back in 2010 Kim was photographed smoking while pregnant with her 4th child ... but insisted she didn't know she was pregnant at the time.

Not fun facts: Research has shown smoking while pregnant carries HUGE risks such as miscarriages, premature births, low birth weight, and sudden infant death syndrome.
